Description

Once a luxurious Mediterranean villa, the Hotel Poseidon in Positano is located in the very heart of the charming town of the Amalfi coast, a short walk from the Spiaggia Grande and its picturesque workshops. Set in a green area, it offers its guests a unique view of Positano with its alleys and cobbled streets, often covered by colored bougainvillea pergolas. It's a dreaming place, loved for its tranquility, glamour and romantic scenery.
For over 50 years the Aonzo family runs the Hotel Poseidon in Positano, welcoming its guests with a discreet and refined hospitality.

All 48 rooms, furnished with taste and elegance, have the typical features of the Mediterranean architecture; wide and sunny, they are decorated with majolica tiles from Vietri sul mare, wrought iron headboards, antique frames and period furniture, which contribute to make a warm and comfortable atmosphere. They are equipped with balcony or private terrace with sea view or overlooking the garden or the historical center of the town.

The panoramic terrace of the Hotel Poseidon is the ideal place for spending relaxing moments, swimming in the pool, sunbathing in the solarium or sipping a cocktail at the snack bar; from here it is possible to enjoy both a fresh sea breeze and a superb view of the bay and Li Galli islands (home of the Homeric sirens).

Best culinary specialties of the Campania region, prepared with fresh local ingredients, can be enjoyed at the hotel dining room or, during the summer, under a flowered pergola, candlelight, admiring the natural beauty of the Divine coast. The restaurant of the Hotel Poseidon "Il Tridente" could also be the perfect setting for your love dream, saying your "I do" in one of the most beautiful and romantic location in the world!

Our guests can relax their body and mind at the health and beauty centre of the Hotel Poseidon, enjoying the benefits of the Turkish bath, dug into the rock, the sun-shower, the Shiatsu room, a wide selection of body and face massages.

The strategic position of the Hotel Poseidon in Positano makes it an ideal starting point for excursions to the other famous towns of the Amalfi coast (such as Amalfi, Ravello, Praiano, Cetara and Conca de' Marini), the Sorrento Peninsula and the islands of Capri and Ischia.
