Mogoro is one of the more important country of the Oristano province, situated in a rich and fertile land , with a landscape crossed from torrents and covered from a luxuriant vegetation. Its territory is rich of archaeological testimonies from the prenuragico period until the roman age: the prenuragico village of "Puisteris", one of the first workshops of the working of obsidian in Sardinia; the complex of "Cuccurada", that include an imposing megalitica structure and the rests of one wall; many of nuraghe and
remains of roman and medieval villages. In the city center there are Romanic- Ghotic church of the Carmine ( XIV century), and the small church of Sant' Antioco, (XVII century). with the typical black basalt.
Very Interesting the old Granatico Mountain, the ancient Grussu house, the buildings of the elementary schools, the parochial house and the former estate of the baroness. Between the typical products of Mogoro the screw, from which many qualities of wine are gained rinomatissimo and the carpet, whose chosen of the colors, the stilistici features, the figures and the designs of it make only and inimitabile handicraft a product.
