Its origin dates back to the Greek-Byzantine age; the first settlements were probably built on the right bank of the Utria river (where relics of St. Vito's Chapel are still visible). Laurito is a small town rich in history, artistic and cultural heritage, old traditions, natural beauties and genuineness products.
