Miglianico is a town in the province of Chieti, located between the rivers of Forum and Venna, near the Adriatic coast. Although it has Roman origins, the town developed only between the X and the XI centuries, around the fortress built to guard over the river Foro. Mentioned in "Catalogum Baronum" in the XV century, it submitted the domain and the jurisdiction of various feudal lords, including the Orsini, the Valignani and the Todesco.
Among the major attractions, not to miss:
- the Masci Castle, of medieval origins;
- the Castle of the Barons Valgnani (XVI century);
- the Church of San Michele Arcangelo (XVI century);
- the Church of St. John the Baptist (XVII century).
